As Head of Scaleup at AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA, Renate Schnutt advises Austrian tech companies on growth, expansion and market topics. She initiates the Born Global Academy, the program for Austrian scaleups on their way into new markets. She also coordinates and is responsible for all AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA startup events and initiatives at tech hotspots worldwide. She previously worked at the Organisation’s office in London, where she built up local program expertise and the investor community. As an active ecosystem builder and co-founder of Global Tech Connect UK, she has made the trans-European networking of startup initiatives one of her main topics. Gender equality, inclusion and equal opportunities have been strong drivers in her daily work since 2016. Among other things, she co-founded the Women's Referendum 2.0 in Austria. Before that, she spent more than 10 years in leading positions in the areas of digitalisation, marketing and controlling in the private sector.
