Michael Mayr is the founder of Silana, a DeepTech startup revolutionizing the fashion industry with fully automated garment production. Silana's technology enables high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing in high-wage countries, reshoring supply chains, reducing CO2 emissions, and cutting overproduction. Before founding Silana, Michael studied Business Law at WU Vienna and Product Development at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He also gained experience at Austria's largest fashion retailer, Fussl Modestraße, and with several European fashion producers.
