Eva Landrichtinger was born in Linz and studied law at the University of Vienna.
As an advisor, she has been responsible for labor and social policy under Federal Ministers
Harald Mahrer and Gernot Blümel. In 2019, she served as an advisor in the cabinet of
Chancellor Sebastian Kurz and subsequently in the cabinet of Federal Minister Alexander
Schallenberg.
On 07 January 2020, Eva Landrichtinger was appointed Chief of Staff at the Federal
Ministry of Labor, Family, and Youth. Following the reorganization under Federal Minister
Martin Kocher into the Federal Ministry of Labor, she assumed the role of General
Secretary in addition to her position as Chief of Staff.
With Martin Kocher's appointment as Federal Minister for Labor and Economy on July 18,
2022, she continued to hold both roles within this department.
Since 01 September 2022, Eva Landrichtinger has been fully dedicated to her role as
General Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Labor and Economy.
