Sebastian Straube – an investor and strategic advisor specializing in the space and defense sectors. As a Partner at Sunfish Partners, a venture capital fund based in Warsaw and Berlin, he identifies, assesses, and oversees investments in early-stage startups focused on defense, military, security, and space technologies.

From 2020 to 2023, he was responsible at ISAR Aerospace Technologies for preparing and implementing dual-use strategies and managing institutional relations in Europe. His expertise also includes mentoring in acceleration programs for defense technology startups, such as NATO DIANA and the Innovative Dual-use Tech Accelerator (IDA).

He was involved in developing the accelerator program "Space Founders" run by the University of German Armed Forces and the French Space Agency.Sebastian co-authored an important 2020 policy report titled “Space: Will Europe Awaken?” which addresses European strategy in space and related challenges. He also contributed to consultations on the new space strategy for the German government.
